Greece-Crete 2019

Between 5-17 April 2019 my wife and me visited Crete. This was for us the first time in Crete, but defenitely not the last time. We booked 5 different locations to stay as we wanted to cover as much area as possible. Because Crete had a lot of rain in March, a lot of the roads were damaged, but despite that we saw masses of wonderful flowers. Thanks to the help from various plant friends, who gave me some good plant locations, we found some amazing plants. The orchids are really the highlight of this trip. In total we drove about 1.700 km as we wanted to get a good impression of Crete. The next time we plan to stay longer at one or two areas to botanise.
